This tour includes:
1 - Pick up in Lisbon/Cascais or near by (start your holiday stress-free - we pick you up directly at your hotel, apartment, cruise terminal or airport).
2 - Sightseeing tour around all the monuments in Sintra (stop in all the view points were you will have time to take pictures and the tour guide will also explain you the official history of all the palaces in Sintra)
3 - Possibility to visit 2 palaces inside (we recomend Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira - tickets are not included on the price)
4 - Coast side (after all the palaces in Sintra we drive to the coast and we stop at Roca Cape - the most western point in Europe - and from there we will drive to Cascais, taking a very scenic road by the coast, side by side with the ocean)
5 - Return to Lisbon (from Cascais we drive you back to Lisbon)
This is a full day tour, takes about 8h.
The average time to visit 1 palace inside is about 1h30min, and in one day you only have time to visit two of them, that you can choose according to your preferences.
In the summer time we can have fire hazards in Sintra and some of the palaces can be closed - in this case we propose to have a sight seeing tour or you will be offered a different date or a different destination.

I travelled to Portugal in a group of 10. Maria and Francisco met us at the airport. They greeted us warmly and immediately made us feel welcome. They were knowledgeable when they took us on our tours, and were patient when we peppered them with questions. They suggested some great restaurants and introduced us to great local foods! I highly recommend their services!

Maria explained many curiosities and gave us a lot of information. It made our trip exceed expectations. He also advised us routes to take advantage of our short stay and things to do if or if. If we come back, we'll repeat for sure
Francisco is very helpful, he gave us lots of info and he did everything to facilitate us entry to the different places visited in Sintra because there were 6 of us with additional wheelchair. In short, we couldn't find a nicer one! A very nice meeting!!

We chose both proposed tour options and we were very satisfied also because Francisco (who spoke a decent Italian) in addition to being a friendly and prepared guide, was able to involve us also by proposing an unusual glimpse of the magnificent Cabo da Rocha. In particular, it was fun to stop to give carrots to a cute donkey. Francisco was always available to make additional stops to take pictures and at our request directed us to a couple of non-tourist trattorias in Lisbon where we had a great time. We thank him and recommend him as a great professional.

Cintra is spectacular but Francisco is more so with his picturesque Italian showed us the beauties of his Portugal which, thanks to him, has also become a little ours. His great culture and love for his country made our stay unforgettable

We just had a small group tour around the palaces and castles of Sintra. Our guide, Maria, was very friendly and knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. She took us around each site, stopped at several viewpoints and then gave us advice on what to see at each site but let us tour the palaces at our own pace. The whole day was tailored for what we were most interested in. Pena Palace and Regaleira are particularly unique and should not be missed! Took us to excellent places for morning coffee and pastries and lunch.
